Privacy Policy

Deskomigo (“we,” “us”) is a mobile back-office app for small service businesses, operated by
Optima BuildSolutions LLC under the brand Zet8 Tech. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your

1. Information we collect
- Account & business info — your name, email and/or phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), and your business profile (business name, address, phone, email, license number, tax rate, logo).
- Business records you create — customers’ names and contact details, invoices, quotes, payments, expenses, projects, tasks, time entries, appointments, and contracts that you enter into the app.
- Images & files — receipt photos, uploaded documents, signatures, and your logo.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Device & technical data — a push-notification token (if you enable notifications) and basic diagnostic data. On Android, location permission is used only to detect the Tap-to-Pay card reader during a sale; we do not track or store your location.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: create and send invoices, quotes, receipts and contracts; take and record payments; schedule appointments; track hours and projects.
- To send transactional messages you trigger — email receipts/confirmations, appointment reminders, and one-time verification codes for sign-in.
- To power the AI assistant and receipt scanning — when you use these features, the text, voice transcript, or receipt image you provide, together with the related business details needed to answer, is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to process that request. We ask for your permission in the app before any data is sent to the AI provider. This data is used only to carry out your request; it is not used to train AI models and is not used for advertising.
- To keep your data safe with automatic daily backups, and to provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information or your customers’ information.
3. Service providers we share with
We share data only with vendors that help us run the app, under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe — card payments and payouts.
- Twilio — SMS verification codes and text messages.
- Resend — transactional email.
- Cloudflare R2 & our hosting provider — secure storage and operation of the app and your data.
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes AI-assistant requests and receipt scans. Data is sent only to fulfill your request, is not used to train models, and is protected under Anthropic’s privacy and security terms.
- Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
- Expo — delivery of push notifications.
4. Your customers’ information
Information you enter about your own customers is yours. You are responsible for that data and for
having the right to store it; we process it on your behalf to provide the service to you.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account,
your business, and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app,
or at api.deskomigo.com/delete-account.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; residual copies are removed from backups within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and the database is
backed up daily. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Children
Deskomigo is a business tool intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information. Most of this is available in the app;
for anything else, email hello@deskomigo.com and we’ll help.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes,
notify you in the app.
